[Milton-L] Satan's webcam

Although the Doré image is very powerful, it incorrectly shows the serpent
already prostrate. I guess it's to avoid this issue that so many
illustrators show the prelapsarian serpent wrapped around a tree.

"Satan's webcam" is a nice phrase. It's almost a narrative principle in PL,
from "Round he throws his baleful eyes" through his approach to Paradise to
"Eve separate he spies" etc.
