[Milton-L] PL in one epigram

Dear friends, during the Christmas holidays I worked out some 70
epigrams, one of which is devoted to Paradise Lost. Unfortunately,
they are all based on untranslatable Italian puns. The Miltonian one
says:

     "Sir, peggio

     di così!"

     esclamò Adamo.

Meaning: "Sir, it couldn't be worse than this! -- Adam cried." But
"Sir, peggio" (peggio = worse) sounds like "serpeggio," I snake.
