Sorry, Jameela: from whom, and concerning what, exactly?? The idea of the
classic as always somehow contemporary?? (Or, as I think Kermode has it,
"enduring," which may well be via Benjamin, in which case it has
connotations of "patient suffering," of undergoing some kind of
ordeal....)...??
