[Milton-L] Face of Satan

Latin *forma* is grammatically feminine.

They are darkened but probably not really dark. Milton speaks of their
diminished brightness. No indication of beards. No horns. Milton has
abandoned the medieval idea of Satan as an ugly monster assembled from
spare animal parts.
