THE BRITISH MILTON SEMINAR
BMS 31, SPRING MEETING,  Saturday 12 March 2005

FINAL NOTICE

Venue:  In   Birmingham  Central Library  on  Saturday 12 March 2005. There
will be  two  sessions, from  11.00  am to 12.30 pm and from 2.00pm to 4.00
pm. 

Programme: (am)  Sharon Achinstein (Oxford) 'Milton in 1641: Presbyterian?';
Robert Wilcher (Birmingham) 'The Drama of Paradise Lost book nine' (pm). The
afternoon  will be given over to a discussion of Paradise Lost book ten.
Position papers from Kay Stevenson (Essex). Nicholas McDowell (Exeter),
Thomas Corns (Bangor) and at least one other paper  (to be arranged).

The  Library  is situated conveniently close both to  New  Street Station
and  to large carparks. A map of central  Birmingham  is available   on
request.  The seminar is open to academic and  related staff  and to
postgraduate students, so do please draw it to  the attention  of  others
who may be interested.

Colleagues who may wish to use the Library collection while in Birmingham
should note that the catalogue is now available online at
