[Milton-L] Post-lapsarian carnivores (was death in Eden)

Just a little thought --

After the humans sinned, death was first introduced to the whole ecological
system of the earth.  This means that if every creature remained vegetarian
after the fall, the world would soon be buried in rotting carcasses of dead
In other words, to make the system sustainable in the long run, some animals
would have to be(come) carnivorous.
