Dear Milton-L Subscribers:

You will remember that a week or so ago, Lee Jacobus treated us all to
his list of Milton's rhetorical schemes and tropes, complete with
examples. And John Leonard added another example to the group.

Lee has graciously allowed me to edit the list and the examples and
supply them on The Milton Reading Room, together with hyperlinks to the
examples. (In one case the example is to the 1667 PL and so will only
work for EEBO subscribers; all the rest are to the MRR editions

Please feel free (if not obliged) to contribute new examples and even
new entries. Enjoy it and use it in the classroom!

All good wishes,

Thomas H. Luxon
