Subject: call for papers

The Modern Language Association's division on Literature and Religion
is sending out this call for papers for the MLA convention to be held
in Philadelphia this coming December. We hope to hear from subscribers
to the Milton-L list, members of the Milton Society of America, and
other interested scholars.

title of session: RELIGION AND AUTHORIAL IDENTITY

description: Identity (define either as one's unique personality or as
one's gender, race, and class), especially in the works of Spenser,
Donne, Herbert, and Milton. 8-page papers by March 8 to Carol V. Kaske
(Cornell) or to Dayton Haskin.
