Dear Students,
      As we close the 2007-2008 academic year, I want to take the
opportunity to thank you for participating in the UR pre-law
program.  Our database of pre-law students, of which you are a part, will
be helpful to all of us in planning and counseling.  This year, hopefully
you were introduced to speakers who helped explain how to apply to law
school and what to expect once you matriculate.  I have enjoyed meeting
with many of you to offer advice and counsel
addressing your individual concerns.
     Next year, we plan to have additional evening programs featuring
current law students and practitioners. I also look forward to more social
and programmatic events with the Phi Alpha Delta legal
fraternity.  Colleen Shutts, outgoing president of Phi Alpha Delta is
leaving some big shoes to fill. Of course, I will be available next year
to meet with each of you individually.
      Please let me know if you have any programmatic ideas for next year
or other suggestions as to how we can better address you pre-law
concerns.  Have a great summer.
