Dear Students,
We would like to inform you of another excellent opportunity, the
Semester in Washington Program at Georgetown University.

Spend your summer in Washington, one of the most culturally and
politically vibrant cities in the world. See where the law, politics,
public policy, international relations, and communications fields
intersect. This summer, at Georgetown University, a small group of
students will have the opportunity to explore the practical side of
the law as they intern in Washington and study at Georgetown
University.

You can earn three credits by working as an intern for five days a
week and taking the accompanying academic seminar one night each week.
You may also elect to take an additional three credits, either by
enrolling in a summer course or by taking the SWP research seminar, a
guided independent research project offered only to SWP students. The
research seminar requires you to produce an original research paper
that focuses on a topic within the law that addresses one of the
following concepts: applied ethics, leadership, or social justice.

There is still time to apply! Cost is approximately $965 + books and the
program runs June 2 - August 9th.
