[Nlsa] Brown Bag Lunch Meeting, Tuesday, 10/31

Hello all!  Traditionally, our group has hosted a series of brown bag
lunch meetings bringing everyone together in a relaxed forum to discuss
our common concerns and to release some pent up stress.  We would like
to continue this excellent tradition and therefore we have scheduled a
meeting for next week.  Although no guest speaker will be invited for
this particular meeting, we plan to invite faculty members or members of
the local bar to future meetings.  Your suggestions are welcome.

 

One of the topics we would like to discuss is the use of our budget for
this year.  Our budget request to the SBA included funds for NLSA to
host a networking event in the spring in which we proposed bringing
together students with practicing attorneys over food and drinks.  This
funding request was granted!  Although our initial idea was primarily
focused on 1L's, we recognize that this event could benefit many of our
members and ask for your input and assistance to make it as useful and
beneficial as possible.
