Hi guys.

Attendance was a bit down this past week, which happens. No biggie. Only
thing is, though - If we're going to try a simulation to help prepare for
UPMUNC, we really need at least 10-12 people to show up, otherwise debate
slows down a great deal. Toward that end, here's the plan for this week.

We're going to give the simulation another shot - same topic as last week.
If you CANNOT make it, please message me ahead of time if at all possible.
Reason is, if we can't get enough people for a simulation then Rada and I
need some time to plan alternative activities, i.e. an overview of
resolution-writing, etc.

Also, if you haven't yet - if you want to go to UPMUNC we need
confirmation ASAP! (And by "ASAP" I mean tonight if at all possible.)
Their deadline is this week, and we have to be able to get the payment in
to them. A quick word on this - every year, we have people who are
completely gung-ho about attending, and at the last minute pull out and
cannot go. Usually it's related to workload. Please, please, please check
all your syllabi etc. to find out when your papers are due and plan
accordingly. If you honestly don't think that you can handle it, that's
perfectly fine, but we need an accurate (or at least 90% accurate) number
for booking hotel rooms and securing our place at the conference.

Right, I think that's it then! Hope to see you on Thursday at 7:00, THC
331 (same room as last week for those who were there). We may also discuss
alternative meeting times, so if you'd like some imput on that feel free
to send me a copy of your schedule or whatever.

Thanks guys.

-MW
