[ModelUN] Social event and field day

Hi guys,

Good news - social event!!! :D It will be held in my apartment - 1604 (on
the IM fields) at 8:00pm this Thursday. And yes, it is in lieu of our usual
meeting. The theme is... Mauritania!! (What a surprise, right?) The beats of
Dimi Mint Abba and Senerim will provide us with a comfortable atmosphere, in
which we can answer trivia questions about our country while indulging in
strongly sweetened tea with fresh mint. Since we are an Islamic nation, we
cannot possibly consume any alcoholic beverages... or at least none that
lack international flavor. ;) As far as snacks are concerned, dried goat
meat and fish balls might be hard to come up with, but we will do our best
to find worthy substitutes. Hope to see you there!

Also, a couple of you expressed interest in participating in Field Day. It
will be this coming Friday, from 4-6pm, and we need to come up with a fun
event. Here are some ideas:
 - Egg and spoon race
 - Balloon shaving
 - Blindfold banana eating (with a twist - participants will first have to
smother their bananas in nutella and then feed them to their partners, who
are also blindfolded)
Basically, anything with potential to create a mess seems perfect to me. But
please let me know, so that we can get all the necessary materials. Thanks!!
