Dear Colleagues,
Members of this list may recall a notice I circulated in early
February about a two-day symposium that the University of Miami and
Florida International University were co-hosting on Milton's Samson
and Religious Violence.
The event was, I think, a great success, thanks in large part to the
enthusiastic participation of some eminent Milton scholars: Stanley
Fish, Feisal Mohamed, John Rumrich, Regina Schwartz, and Susanne Woods.
I'm pleased to inform you that videos of the round-table discussion
in which these scholars participated are now available for viewing at
the website of the newly established University of Miami Center for
the Humanities. Here's the link:

I'd be very happy to hear responses to the content of our discussion,
which has also prompted the proposal of a volume of essays on the
subject to which members of this list are welcome to propose
contributions.
Best wishes,
Jeffrey Shoulson
