[Milton-L] "The Verse"

There is a chapter on "The Verse" in my Critical Commentary on Paradise Lost
(1966)...a sort of "Intelligent Person's Guide to its prosody."  I start by
comparing Milton's verse with that of  Gorboduc, take in the work of F.T.
Prince, consider what Johnson had to say, and end with a discussion of
Milton's use of rhyme in PL.

But good luck on finding a copy -all my opuscula in that series were stolen
from Canadian university libraries years ago - students apparently found
them useful.
