[Milton-L] Milton's Name: Latinized Spelling?

Harold Skulsky advises:

What you have won't work, I'm afraid. Try "Miltonis loci communes," or
"Loci communes apud Miltonem." Or (rough Attic equivalent) "Topoi [koinoi]
miltonikoi."

And to my Latin ear the "Loci communes apud Miltonem" sounds better, just
because of the logical problem of a genitive of *possesion* to *common*
places.  The whole point is that such sayings do *not* belong to Milton
(or, in the end, to anyone).
