[Milton-L] Milton's Name: Latinized Spelling?

Sorry for the confusion. I have a chapter on Milton in my current project. Roughly described: an anthropology of analytic philosophy via early-modern thought. In formulating my Milton chapter I'm presenting a select "Milton commonplace book" as the best means to advance the larger thesis of the study. The generic figure of the commonplace book makes sense as I turn analytic philosophy loose upon (or with) Milton. Thus the chapter title I'm tinkering with is something like "Miltonem Locus Communis." I thought I should check my thinking about the title (and especially my spelling) here in this forum before I lost myself in the miasma of my own cleverness, and in wandering through this chaos struck my shin against my solid ignorance of Latin.

Thanks,

Carter
