I'm teaching a graduate course on seventeenth-century literature now
and am using the Norton Critical Edition of Donne (Dickson) and the
Norton Critical Edition of British Poetry (1603-1660) (Rumrich and
Chaplin), along with the Broadview Anthology of
Seventeenth-Century Prose (not the edition that combines poetry and
prose). These are working well for me, but my course does not
include Milton, which is a separate offering in our curriculum.
