[Milton-L] query

Dear Carmela,

  Happy to oblige.  My comments do not, alas, add up to a comprehensive view
of Milton's position on Jerome.  Certainly Milton consulted the Vulgate, as
several references in DE DOCTRINA CHRISTIANA indicate.  His preferred bible,
though, was clearly the Junius-Tremellius text.
