Much appreciation for Margaret's post.  I'm curious: would Milton feel
the need to issue a justification of God's ways to man because of
human actions?  I can understand blaming God for natural phenomena
such as earthquakes, but blaming God for human injustice seems to
imply a demand for a God who would retract human freedoms for our own
good -- and, by extension, a political system that would do so.
