Dear Judith Herz,
Have you heard Harold Bloom recite Paradise Lost? Could you tell me more
about it, if you did? In terms of your marathon readings, I would so
appreciate it if you could answer these questions.
What is your pedagogical purpose?
How often do you conduct them? Before, after, or during your class
reading of Paradise Lost, or is timing dependent on external causes like the
semester calendar, other department events, marking Milton¹s birthday, etc.?
How long do they take?
Where are they conducted? The Institutions as well as venue: a classroom,
library, university space, local library, etc.?
Who joins in and who is the audience?
Do you have hand-outs or pictures that you could share with me? I do not
know if I can include illustrations in the publications but I do know I will
use a PowerPoint at the keynote speech.
Where do you teach and in what capacity, if applicable?
All speed and materials appreciated. Many thanks.
Adios,
Angelica Duran
