The excellent English web site Thinking Anglicans has a link to a brief commentary about the relevance of Milton's views on church and state to current discussions about disestablishment. It should be the first set of stuff you see. I have of course not written down the URL, but put Thinking Anglicans in your browser and you will get there.

This site is the most comprehensive one I've found on things Anglisan. Their scope is world wide, and they often have the skinny on things going on in my own Episcopal Church in a quite timely way. They post from both liberal and conservative sources, and commentary by readers is usually civil, if sometimes sharp-edged. If you want to know whassup with The Great Big Increasingly Messy Anglican Communion, this is your site.
