[Milton-L] Milton in Lucca

I wonder has anyone any information about Milton's 1639 visit to Lucca ,
which he mentions in   Epitaphium Damonis as being the home of the Diodati
family. Several biographers and critics, including Bush, take this visit as
a certainty, but offer no detailed proof, while his stays in other Italian
cities are, of course, wellaccounted for.

I welcome any input at all on this point.
