[Milton-L] Milton and Michael Innes

Dear List Members,

I seem to remember that some time ago somebody mentioned Michael Innes's
use of Milton as an "intertext" in _Operation Pax_.
In Innes's book, there is a Milton Manor (not exactly an Edenic place,
though) in the village of Milton Porcorum not far away from Milton
Canonicorum. There are several epigraphs from _Paradise Lost_, _Paradise
Regained_ and _Comus_, and the plot reminds me of _Comus_ to a certain
extent.
Does anyone know about discussions in print on Milton and Innes (a.k.a.
J.I.M. Stewart). I would be grateful for further hints.
