I did check with some friends in the UK before making that assumption, Bill--and the consensus among them was "Charles III."

Of course, if he's going to go with George, perhaps he's anticipating abdication?

  Apropos of completely nothing: I gather, Carol, that "the future Charles III" is actually going to call himself George VII - perhaps because he'd rather have a name redolent of madness and decline (which unkind souls might suggest we already associate with him in any case) rather than one that makes us start thinking about regicide again.
