There are worse things. I'm reading these posts just as I'm beginning
prep for a colonoscopy tomorrow at 8am. :-<

Regarding PL as pedagogy: that's after my time. I read it as a monument
to ideas that are unfortunately not yet dead. (I'm thinking of its
radical individualism more than of its religius nonsense.) It's still a
wonderful work both to read and to argue about.
