In following up Professor Appelbaum's argument for the peach as forbidden fruit, I came across a surrealist artist who has painted scenes from Paradise Lost, including one titled Eve's Dream: Eat a Peach.

All of the images, unfortunately, are thumbnails, far to small to see clearly. Terrance Lindall might want to take a look and possibly invite the artist, Mattthew Skenandore, to the WAHCenter's Milton festivities.
