[Milton-L] Remember Va Tech

Tomorrow at noon local time [DST, American], all Virginia colleges and universites and other state agencies will observe a moment of silence to remember those who last year on that day were killed or wounded, their friends and families, and for all of what they proudly call Hokie Nation.

I found last year that maybe half a dozen students in all of my classes did NOT have some connection - friends, family - with Virginia Tech. One young lady who goes to our church was in the building when the shootings took place, and lost two good friends.

So please join us at that time. And do spare a thought or prayer for the young man who did this, and particularly his family, who have cut themselves off from the world and their own community. There was  an article about their withdrawel in yesterday's WPost. They are as much their son'd victims as anyone.
