Among other things, you might check Ants Oras, MILTON'S EDITORS AND COMMENTATORS
FROM PATRICK HUME TO HENRY JOHN TODD (1695-1801):  A STUDY IN CRITICAL VIEWS AND
METHODS, 1931, repr. New York:  Haskell House, 1964.  The section on the
Richardsons, of which I have only a portion, begins on page 100 and runs to
page 138 or 139.
