P.S. Just for the record (in case anybody ever wants to cite my own great insights) -- my parents burdened me with an unusual spelling for my name: "Jeffery."
   
  It could be worse ... and sometimes is. In Britain, I've been identified as "Horrace Jeffrey Hodges," and in Australia as "Horace Geoffrey Hodges."
   
  I have a slightly postmodern existence, it seems, though I don't know whether this means, concerning myself as author, death or a plethora...
